Tomato Plant Giveaway

500 complimentary tomato plants will be given out to attendees after the Welcome Ceremony with Mayor and Council at 2:00 p.m on Saturday, April 27 at Party for the Planet!

Tomato plant giveaway operating on a first-come, first-serve basis. Limit one per person, subject to availability.
 

  

For Kids

Bring your little ones to experience the fun of Earth Day! Party for the Planet offers fun activities for all ages. Kids activities include a rock climbing wall, the Family Stage and the Downtown Surrey BIA kid’s craft zone.

Don't forget to chow down at a variety of food trucks on University Drive! Party for the Planet is proud to offer a variety of vegan (VE), vegetarian (V) and gluten-free (GF) options. Food trucks include:

City Centre Library

The City Centre Library will be open 12pm - 4pm for the event. Visit the library with your family to experience quiet family activities and local performances at the Meadow Stage. 

Quiet Family Activities include:

  • Colouring: Join us for nature-themed colouring, supplies provided. All ages welcome. 
  • Puzzles: Help put together some puzzles, unleash your creativity! All ages welcome. 
  • Games: Boardgames and assorted games. All ages welcome. 
  

Environmental Extravaganza

Surrey’s Environmental Extravaganza is a long-running series of free environmental programs that happen from April to June each year, hosted in collaboration with our community partners. Visit booths in the Live Green World to learn about what programs will be offered this year.

Bike Smoothies

Hop on a blender bike and pedal hard to turn the blender and make a smoothie! Blender bikes fit most people ages 6 and up. Everyone can sample these delicious, human-powered bike smoothies.
